Letter from a hopeful American

I’m very worried about the future. They’re convention was quite an elaborate one. I just hope there will be enough people out there who can see whats really going on. The look on the faces of the police and also I understand Black Water who dragged our American people away in a rough and disrespectful manner was one of anger, rudeness and brutal arrogance.

These days, it really seems that we have to ask again, “What is a republican?” It was really sad when I saw them roughly arrest Amy Goodman a journalist for a radio station in Los Angeles California KPFK. She’s an excellent commentary. She has her own show – Democracy Now and hits on topics of real importance.

Its so obvious they’re putting on a show for all the conservative Christians. Appealing to all the ones who believe in war. Right to lifers who shoot to kill whether in war or in the woods hunting for sport. I feel a real right to lifer would not want to take any life and treat all life with respect I could not take a life unless my very life or someone else’s life was being.

Certainly I do not advocate for war at least not until there is no possible choice. But to be in such a hurry to invade a country for reasons that were false and without proof look how long we have been there now and all the life’s lost mostly innocent life’s.

These people that are so happy with the convention are without alot of burdens and are financially in pretty good shape they are also very conservative. Why is religion and war so closely aligned. I know murder and destruction has always something they have had no problem with.

They want all the babies to be born but lets get to war and kill some of they’re kids. Yea they put on a real patriotic show full of rich Christian white people they must be joking. Theres barley any people of color and a lot of empty seats. They used brutal force on they’re own fellow Americans.

They have lots and lots of money religious corporate moguls eager to get tax cuts and hold on to corporate greed. And they’ll lie and cheat to keep what they have stolen. Now all of a sudden there playing the we’ve done so much to keep the American people safe.

When it’s obvious they will have the power to enforce more of a police state. When John McCain was shot down he was bombing innocent people destroying families and the young and the old. And because of the current administration more lives have been lost than was ever lost on 9/11, not to mention years to follow in conflict with the middle east.

How can that be justified? And maybe they’re not in a depression so much right now but the majority of us are. They’re trying to over run us with they’re patriotic, heroic maniacs out there who put they’re hunting and war values high. No wonder they didn’t mind missing a day or two on account of hurricane Gustav which just gave them more time to fuel the fire and justify four more years of more of the same.

He would be a lot more into drafting our young people to wars all around the world. we’re in conflict right now and I don’t see it getting any better. And if we’re so fast to go to war we could be in war with them. When a less military person who is at least willing to work things out if possible. They’re running a totally military, white, upper class, Christian, holier than thou and white as snow.

Body fat and diabetes

Diabetes can be very challenging especially for people who have been recently diagnosed. I know its hard to have to watch they’re diets to the point of needing to eliminate a lot of the foods they are so used to eat. If only those foods had not been in such an abundant supply.

There would not be so much obesity and diabetes but then there would be no use for all the diabetic medications which are very expensive. I’m a type 1 diabetic since 1991 and it totally change my world. I have had some doctors tell me I can’t eat any more sugar and other doctors tell me I can eat any thing I want I can just adjust my dosage of insulin.
